Leukemia Treatment Failure - Are There Alternatives?


Scientists don't understand the precise causes of leukemia. It seems to develop from a mixture of genetic and environmental factors.

How leukemia forms

In general, leukemia is assumed to occur when some blood cells acquire mutations in their DNA — the instructions inside each cell that guide its action. There could also be other changes within the cells that have yet to be fully understood that would contribute to leukemia.

Certain abnormalities cause the cell to grow and divide sooner and to continue living when normal cells would die. Over time, these abnormal cells can displace healthy blood cells within the bone marrow, resulting in fewer healthy white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets, causing the signs and symptoms of leukemia.

How leukemia is assessed 

Doctors classify leukemia supported its speed of progression and therefore the sort of cells involved.

The first sort of classification is by how briskly leukemia progresses:

I just read the story of a young man in England who is dying of leukemia. He has been through chemotherapy and radiotherapy twice. He has also had a bone marrow transplant. He has suffered through the side effects of the new bone marrow attacking his body. He has been on steroids and other drugs.

His cancer returned despite all of the treatment. He lost his girlfriend, he lost his job and he lost his flat and moved in together with his parents. he's dying. He really believes that he will die.

I want to be very respectful and delicate because dying may be a serious topic. However, what if there have been alternatives that will help? I cannot represent you, but it seems to me that if modern mainstream medicine failed me, I might address medicine.

What about the work of Renee Caisse and her Essiac formula? What about the work of a German biochemist named Johanna Budwig? What about the superb book: the way to Fight Cancer and Win?

What about the work of Bernie Siegal - a cancer surgeon who found another way? There are people that have defeated cancer.

Again, I do not mean to form light of a situation as serious as cancer or leukemia. But, is it prudent to except the very fact that one is incurable because a couple of doctors following the protocols of allopathic medicine thought there was no hope? Stories abound of individuals who have successfully defeated their cancer or are arrested goodbye that you simply might also say they won the fight.

Here are some more things to explore: What about juicing wheatgrass and vegetables. What about macrobiotic diets. What about...? The list is long.
